For Educators

Are you a qualified professional in infosec with an interest in sharing your knowledge with students? There might be a place for you at SECedu.

At SECedu we have set ourselves a lofty goal - to set a new benchmark for cyber security education in Australia, and to actively seek to help other educational bodies learn from our successes and failures.

Students at UNSW's School of Computer Science and Engineering today get the privilege of learning from some of the most gifted and passionate teachers in security education in Australia. But we are rapidly expanding the SECedu program and have an appetite to offer more - whether that be through full-time academic roles, teaching stipends or sponsorship of research.

UNSW is keen to hear from outstanding and inspirational individuals who want to contribute to this mission. The University is looking for educators what offer students the same sense of fun and energy around security education.

If you can demonstrate strong personal engagement in the cyber security domain - whether that's via contributions to development of tools, delivery of conference presentations or workshops, or a history of breaking things in interesting ways, and feel like you'd like to share what you've learned with some of the country's brightest young computer scientists, drop us a line
