This course is delivered as an applied workshop in computer security and cybercrime. The course gives students the opportunity to work with industry professionals using their products to develop security systems. Students will approach real-life problems faced in the security world, using Cloud programming to provide meaningful solutions.

The course is delivered by SECedu, in collaboration with the team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Students will be exposed to real world security problems in the cloud space. During the term, students will work in small groups, mentored by select AWS Solution Architects, to build a novel cloud-based solution to these real world security challenges.

The course is facilitated in a work-like environment and encourages students to apply their technical and collaborative skills.

Students who wish to complete this course are required to complete an Expression of Interest form.
