Drug dealers are moving away from using the dark web and anonymous cryptocurrencies and onto social media apps in droves, targeting teens with slick marketing campaigns.

A group of parents in the United States, who've lost children to an overdose after they ordered drugs on Snapchat, are demanding the tech giants do more to curb the sale of illicit drugs on their apps.

Here's what the Australian arm of Snapchat is doing and how the AFP polices the problem that's devastating families overseas.
